Dying Light: The Beast jest spin-offem cyklu gier akcji z elementami RPG, osadzonych w świecie po apokalipsie zombie. Produkcja została opracowana przez polskie studio Techland. Początkowo powstawała jako dodatek do gry Dying Light 2: Stay Human, jednak z czasem rozrosła się na tyle, że została samodzielnym projektem.
Głównym bohaterem gry Dying Light: The Beast jest Kyle Crane, protagonista pierwszej odsłony cyklu, powracający jako hybryda człowieka i zombie. Po 13 latach niewoli u niejakiego Barona odzyskuje wolność i zamierza zemścić się na swoich oprawcach, którzy prowadzili na nim brutalne eksperymenty.
